My Experience with Accutane

A Little History..

My name is Jayne, and I'm 17 years old. I made this site in order to keep track of my 5 months on Accutane. I chose to use accutane for a couple of reasons. First off, I've been experiencing acne since i was about 10 or eleven and now and have tried a bundle of different things: differin gel, minocin, biaxin, benzoclin, tazorac, zoderm, toleraine, birth control, proactive, OTC treatments, etc., and have been on as many as 5 medications at one time. There were times when i was comepletely zit free but it wouldn't last more than a couple of days until my next breakout. It's been really hard to deal with this kind of "cycle" or lack thereof, never knowing what my skin is going to look like when i wake up in the morning and how many pimples are going to appear throughout the course of my day. Another reason I've chosen this drug is because the research that I've done on it has reassured me of its validity and it seems completely worth it. So, join me on my journey through Accutane.
